Development update:

• Last week and a half we worked on some (mainly technical) details:
• URL rewriting, the URL matches the category path. For you that means that it is much easier to link to any directory, station or the Top 40 within PodNova! Also Google will start indexing all the PodNova stations and categories, which is cool for the podcasters.
• Order for the playlist and the subscription list is now synchronized (latest updates on top).
• The PodNova Searchengine ranks a station which is also somewhere in the directory higher then one which is not.
• The PodNova Searchengine searches all possible paths and displays the shortest routing to the chosen station.
• The PodNova Spider now detects feeds which are down or malformed (bozo). If so, we keep the old valid version.
• The PodNova Spider now identifies itself as 'PodNova 1.0 +http://www.podnova.com'.
• HTTP Compression enabled, so the site should be a bit quicker.
• Directories and PodNova stations are more accurately updated.
• That's it for now, a bit of a technical update, but next big thing will be new functionality. Promise, good things are coming :)
• More and more people find their way to PodNova, which is great. Big thanks to the people who support us!
