- After the first months of PodNova, we can say that PodNova is a success. We've build up a lot of registered users. We enjoy working on it, and we get a lot of nice responses. Many thanks for the people who gave us the thumbs up, it's really appreciated and it does make a difference!
Untill now PodNova is the website for:
- online subscription management
- single-click subscribing to podcasts
- easy searchable and browsable (spidered) directory to find podcasts
- synchronizing your personal podcatchers over multiple locations/systems
- a true ranking system which is not based on voting
- We're continuously working behind the scenes to bring you new features and functionality. Some small things are released in between, but the big things are coming closer every day!
We'd like to share some of the things we're working on with you. We want to do this because we'd like to know what listeners and podcasters like to see added. Ultimately, we want to deliver what you want, and keep the system as open as it is now.
PodNova has mainly focussed on the listeners of podcasts, and we will keep supporting the listeners. Besides this we're also going to offer more functionality for the podcasters themselves. We want to bring podcasters and listeners together. First more for the listeners, after this, more for the podcasters! - Some improvements and new functionality we're working on:
- improvements:
- better searchresults
- new lay-out and redesign of all templates
- improve the help section
- custom audioplayer
- more use of ajax technology
- new functionality
- generated personal recommendations
- offer featured podcasts
- setting up a 'friends'-system
- possibillity of sharing subscriptions
- possibillity of sharing an episode
- manual force feed refresh
- If you have specific ideas or wishes you'd like to see integrated in the topics mentioned above, don't hesitate to contact us!

Fantastic. I have used Podnova almost from day 1 and it just keeps getting better.

Is their anyway to select multiple episodes and send that playlist to winamp, or play them one after the other?

Unkel_Slam, we're currently working on this. Expect it soon. It could be this week, or else next week :)

I realize this is a month belated, but I want to say... podnova IS a success from the user end. I'm so glad you guys mailed me back when to let me know about how I could put a chicklet on my podcast's site -- now it's how I do my own podcast listening, too. :)
