Alternative to the Desktop Client
Wesley Freyer wrote a nice tutorial about PodNova in combination with Juice. If you're dissatisfied with the current feature set of the Desktop Client this might be a nice alternative:

Also the Desktop Client now has a webserver build-in (a desktop webserver) which you can use to watch or listen to the downloaded pod/vodcasts.

Hi RussH, may I ask: what was your opinion about the 'offline website' in the new client? (push play-button for now, we're working on better integration)

Hiya, I've come back to check-up on things, and see there's a new client! Will have a play in the immediate future

Thanks for the link - I appreciate you're trying to encourage people to manage podcasts via your site, but it's simply never been as flexible or quick as using the old PodNova client.
